Gary Keller is chairman of the board of Keller Williams Realty, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based real estate franchise company with over 74,000 real estate agents in more than 650 offices across the United States and Canada. As chairman, Keller provides strategic direction for the company.
Awards
Keller was named as Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Central Texas and dubbed the second most influential person in the real estate industry by Realtor Magazine 2003. In 2004, he was he was a finalist for Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2006, Inman News listed Keller as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders.
Published works
In 2003, with the release of The Millionaire Real Estate Agent, co-authored by Dave Jenks and Jay Papasan, Keller became a best-selling author when the book spent time on the BusinessWeek best-seller list. In 2005, they co-authored their second book, The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, which reached [[New York Times[[ Best Seller list, as well as Businessweek's best-seller list.
